The Ford 400 in the city of Homestead, Florida, is a NASCAR Sprint Cup sports car chase which is apprehended by Homestead-Miami Speedway. In 1999, the race was first run which is comparatively fresh on the NASCAR route. The Ford 400, since 2002, has been an element of the Ford Championship Weekend which is the preceding week of the NASCAR period.
