Dodger Stadium is home to the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was built in 1962 and is one of the oldest parks still in operation. The first game between the Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds was held on April 11, 1962 in which the Dodgers won. The ballpark has a capacity of 56,000. Dodger Stadium hosts other events as well as MLB games, including big name concerts.
The stadium has seen millions of fans and has hosted eight World Series events. The stadium has also seen Pope John Paul II celebrate Mass in 1987. Different international and national performers have graced the stage at Dodger stadium. From the likes of top rock bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elton John, Michael Jackson and many others have given their performances here. Renovations have been going on and Dodger Stadium is still considered one of the best ballparks by the players till date
