With just over a day left for the MLB All-Star game, the whisperings and the bated breaths have already begun. Major League Baseball has named two more starters for this huge event. The lucky players this time around are pitchers Cliff Lee of the Cleveland Indians and Ben Sheets of the Milwaukee Brewers. Despite being demoted to the minors last season, Lee has come out strong with an ERA of 2.31. Mariano Rivera was largely expected by the fans to take Lee’s place, but AL manager Terry Francona says Rivera is not a starter, though he might be called upon. It should be a great game with many new faces in the 79th annual mid summer classic.
