MLB All-Star game marathon     

In the longest All-Star game in the history of baseball, lasting all of 15 innings and 5 hours, the American League delivered the final blow to defeat the National League 4-3 in a great game Tuesday. Michael Young's sacrifice fly did the job for AL after Carey Hart threw a tad too late and Justin Morneau slid home for the victory. JD Drew received MVP honors as he had a big game tying home run for the American League.With this, the American League has extended its unbeaten streak to a record 12 games. This game was a fitting finish to what might be the final national event on the Bronx stage.
