The Eagles broke up in 1980 and that was about it for them. The reunion tour in 1994 and their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 were brief highlights in (for all intents and purposes) a 28-year dormancy. But in 2007 the sleeping bear awoke. The Eagles reunited and released their first full-length studio album for the first time in 28 years, entitled: Long Road out of Eden. With the lineup of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmidt, The Eagles’ newest release immediately soared to the lofty heights of Rock and Roll heaven. Instantly debuting at number 1 in the USA, Britain, and several other countries, Long Road out of Eden became The Eagles’ third album to go platinum seven times over. It may be a bittersweet feeling, however, as front man Glenn Frey admitted that this would most likely be The Eagles’ last studio album ever. Luckily, there’s still plenty of time to catch their amazing live set. The Eagles are back on the road and proving they can still hang tough in the live concert world. To view all of their upcoming shows, check out The Eagles concert dates on our website.

On October 23rd, the Ohio State Buckeyes will hold their Agonis Club/Ohio State Men's Basketball Tip-off event at 5:30 in their home Value City Arena. The event is a promotion that benefits both the basketball team and the fans. This Thursday, for the first 500 fans that show up at the Value City Arena, $75 tickets will be sold that allows them to watch the team practice and hang around afterwards to ask head coach Thad Matta questions. In addition to this, the 500 lucky fans will receive a free commemorative t-shirt and photograph. In return, the basketball players will get their first chance this year to perform in front of their fans and help ease themselves into the new season. The basketball program will also greatly benefit from the ticket proceeds. While the first "official" practice for the Buckeyes is this Friday, the Thursday night event is by no means a walkthrough. The fans want to see that the Buckeyes players are in competitive shape for the new season of NCAA basketball. When it comes time for the new NCAA season to officially begin, you can find your Ohio State Basketball tickets right here.

The musical that was created well over thirty years ago, based upon the Harold Gray comic strip and Thomas Meehan book, is still going strong on the Broadway circuit. But it's also expanded to a much larger market...international even. The story of the hopeful, red-haired orphan has entertained theatre goers across the US as well as the UK, Italy, Argentina, Germany, and many others. Though it experienced slight disinterest in the 1980s and was forced to temporarily close down productions, it was revived shortly thereafter to open arms. It even inspired a sequel, which (unfortunately) received extremely harsh reviews. But they've gotten back to the original formula now and are constantly entertaining audiences every night. Regardless of where you may be in the United States, there's a good chance that there's a production of Annie within driving distance. Check out our Annie show dates and see for yourself!

WWE Smackdown and WWE Monday Night Raw have been two of the biggest staples in the success of the WWE. That's because they occasionally give the fans a pay-per-view calibre event on basic cable. For instance, this upcoming WWE Smackdown will feature a classic match of power versus speed/technique. When the Russian giant Vladimir Kozlov takes on Jeff Hardy tonight, another chapter of the power vs. speed debate will be settled. Can the big man land that one big hit on the smaller guy? Or will he be tired out by the constant, speedy, and agile attack of the smaller? Vladimir is known for just bullying through his opponents and being able to withstand a lot of damage. Hardy, on the other hand, is no lay down Sally. He too almost enjoys pain and will use his body in any way he can too inflict it upon another. Regardless of how it turns out tonight, it will definitely be entertaining. You can see tonight's Smackdown, and many other WWE events, if you capitalize on our great WWE tickets.

With the regular season of MLS soccer rapidly winding down, there are a handful of teams that stand on the cusp of postseason play. D.C. United, LA Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, and Kansas City Wizards are all on the chopping block, so to speak. The Chicago Fire, on the other hand, have already secured a spot in the MLS playoffs, largely in part to their miserly defense which has only allowed 28 goals. Having only played 28 games, that places them with an exact 1 goal per game ratio. While that may not sound that great to a casual fan, it is one of the better team performances in recent years, and is also the best Goals Against ranking in all of the MLS. It's this defense-first mentality that has guided them through the entire season, as also evidence by their modest 37 goals scored. The LA Galaxy, for example, who have scored 53 goals, have also let in 57. The same rule in most other sports applies in soccer: defense wins championships. That's exactly what the fire is hoping for. Catch all the action of the MLS live this year with our MLS tickets.

-We eat ham, and jam and spam a lot- This line, lifted from the 1975 film Monty Python's Holy Grail, was the inspiration for the title of the Broadway hit Monty Python's Spamalot. The musical, like the film, follows an irreverent take on Arthurian Legend but also differs in many ways to make it more applicable to the stage. Co-written by former Python member Eric Idle, the first official production opened in Chicago on January 9th, 2005 and received incredible reviews from critics and theatre-goers alike. Since that time, the show has toured and set up productions in many other cities within the United States and abroad. It has featured giants of the entertainment industry like David Hyde Pierce (from "Frasier") and Hank Azaria (voice talent on "The Simpsons") and garnered numerous Tony Awards. The show is now heading towards the end of its fourth year and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down. If you haven't seen it yet, or just want to catch it again because it was so uproariously comical, take a look at the Spamalot show dates we offer.

With the new season roughly 13 1/2 days away from opening night tipoff, let’s take a quick preview at a few prominent NBA teams. Starting with the returning champions the Boston Celtics, the preseason portends a great regular season and (most likely) postseason. The Celtics are 3-1 in preseason exhibition play and return with the powerful triumvirate of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen, all of whom have averaged well over 10 points per game. But then again, everyone will be gunning for the Celtics, including Kobe and his Los Angeles Lakers. After falling just short of taking the NBA crown last year, the Lakers have never wanted the title more badly. Expect Kobe to up the ante on his already incredible game-play standard. The Cleveland Cavaliers are yet another team always in the hunt. Led by (now world famous after the Beijing Olympics) LeBron James, the Cavaliers have all the leadership, charisma, and talent needed to make this their year. The New York Knicks, after an impressive display in a matchup against Philadelphia last night (albeit a loss), have given their fans quite a lot to hope for. The fire and intensity of the players and new head coach Mike D’Antoni were refreshing to the long-despondent New York fans. As for the 6-time World Champion Chicago Bulls, not even a winless preseason is enough to keep fans from hoping for the best. Between Nocioni and Noah, the Bulls will look to get a lot done in the paint this year. They’ve also got college standout star and number one draft pick Derrick Rose to pin some hopes on. Whatever your team is, you can always find basketball tickets here at Vividseats.com.

Even before that time, his voice had been featured on numerous collaborations with other mega talents like Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Jay-Z. But now he's rolling along with his solo tour, stopping at all major cities along the way. It took about eight months of waiting but the St. Louis Rams finally got their first win. After losing their last four games of last season and the first four of this one, the Rams finally put a tally in the win column after defeating the Washington Redskins 19-17. In a game that claims a strong spot among the rest of the strange matches and upsets this week, the Rams almost imploded on several occasions. They fumbled on their own 4-yard line on their second play from scrimmage; they lost a 9-point lead in the fourth quarter; then, when they were set up for an easy chip shot, game-winning field goal, they committed a 15-yard penalty and placed extra pressure on the kicker. Then again, there were some definite positives for the Rams. Under the tutelage of new head coach Jim Haslett, the Rams' defense looked strong, forcing Washington's first three turnovers of the season. Bulger came to life again if only briefly. And most importantly, the Rams won. After Marc Bulger hit a 43-yard pass completion and the following 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Richie Incognito, Josh Brown set his sights and knocked in the game winner from 49-yards out. Overall, the Rams know they were lucky to come out with the "W" after being outgained in yards 368-200, but they will relish it nonetheless. Under Haslett, perhaps they have a chance to salvage the season. To catch your Rams in action, or any other team, check out the NFL ticket information on our website.
