Every winter, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra goes on tour and wows fans from all across the country. The group was founded in 1996, when Paul O’Neill approached a few musician friends of his with a plan. It was a musical group that was supposed to bridge a lot of the barriers in the concert world. They present a mix of classical, rock, heavy metal and other kinds of music. The show also has a heavy component of theater, employing a lot of typical theatrical special effects, including smoke machines and pyrotechnics. In fact, some people say that it’s better to see this show from some vantage point where you can actually see the entire stage at once. They are best known for their shows of Christmas music, although they’ve been adding a lot of non-holiday material over the last couple years as well, especially in their recorded material. To find out what this show experience is like, check out our Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets which are some of the hottest tickets of the season; you will get to see this fun show that is intended to bridge boundaries between cultures and musical styles. Each show has two parts to it. The first part has the story from “Christmas Eve and Other Stories”, which remains one of their most popular albums since it was released in the late 90s. The second half is a mixture of songs from their newer albums, including songs that you probably haven’t heard before, even if you’re one of their biggest fans. It’s going to be a great tour for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and they will be in your town before you know it! Get your tickets today!

This Friday, at Madison Square Garden, the Hip-Hop singer Jay-Z will be performing a benefit concert in front of thousands of fans. The concert’s proceeds will go to helping out the families of New York City’s fallen police and firemen from the September 11th attacks several years ago. Today the tickets went onsale, so you can get your JayZ tickets right now for this great show. If you can’t make it to that show, he will be playing other dates over the course of the next few months. His current tour takes him particularly to college venues, which are smaller but put you much closer to the performer himself. This should really make you hurry even more to get your tickets, because there won’t be all that many available. In other Jay-Z news, he just released his newest album this week, called Blueprint 3. Many critics have listened to this new album and it seems to be a good one. This singer just keeps getting better with great innovative tracks and great lyrics. It was supposed to come out on Friday, the same day as the benefit concert itself. But it leaked online a little bit earlier, so it was rushed out somewhat sooner than previously expected. It’s also available online. But why not buy it when you go to the concert itself? Then you might even get a chance to have it autographed by him. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to see him, so make sure that you’re there to catch some of his great concerts this fall!

You know the New York Rangers have it in them. They had a tough year last year having been stuck with a lack of goal-scorers over the course of the last few seasons. But this year, they have brought in Marian Gaborik, who is a major wingman and has been able to lead his previous teams into top levels of offensive play. At the same time, a host of other new players, too many to name here, have been brought in to beef up the offense and improve the defense as well. With this team's opponents, it's going to take a lot for them to be especially competitive, especially in the Eastern Conference. The Penguins and the Flyers and the Bruins are going to be some hard competition for the next few years, but the Rangers have made all the right moves to make the playoffs happen for them. This weekend, Rangers hockey tickets finally go on sale for the 2009-2010 season. It's going to be fantastic, so get ready for a fun season!

With the Allman Brothers Band still touring, you might think we’re back in the past. The band is still one of the best in the southern rock world. The reviews of the performances on the current tour are overwhelmingly positive. They have some new members since their glory days back in the 70s, including the additions of guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks. In Mansfield, Massachusetts, they even had Jimmy Herring with them onstage and it made their sound even more impressive than usual. Gregg Allman, 61, was the starting player in the band. His more growly voice gives the ensemble a special sound that can help shift their style into blues-rock or hard rock. Haynes and Trucks will continue to be big forces in this band, because they are younger and they are authoring many of their newest hits. Since this band is celebrating its 40th anniversary, there are still Allman Brothers tickets for performances in cities all the way through the end of October. Make sure to catch them on this very special tour this year and hear some of their great guests. Their influences are wide-ranging, encompassing everything from rock to blues, jazz to hard rock. Fans and critics alike have been enjoying their latest tour for the last several months and you can be sure that it’s going to be just as good over the next two months!

One of this year’s hottest teams in baseball has been the New York Yankees. It seems that their offseason acquisitions have paid off tenfold as this team could be cruising to a season of 90-100 wins. Among the best of them was CC Sabathia, who has won under difficult situations and easy games all season. A.J. Burnett has contributed similarly to the team and it’s very exciting for everyone involved. Meanwhile, Mark Teixeira gave the team some needed power in the field and at the plate. It also gave the poor Red Sox something to be disappointed about, because they were also in the running to pick up the strong first baseman. Nick Swisher is also one of their best new players. These four along with the rest of this talented team have formed the MLB’s biggest powerhouse this season and are coasting to an easy win in the AL East. It is also being reported that Yankees tickets are some of the most sought-after tickets, not only in sports, but of any event tickets. As a result, you might want to hurry to get yours before someone else from the Big Apple gets there first. There are just a few weeks left of the regular season. The playoffs follow, and it’s going to be a lot of fun to see the Yankees back in the thick of the pennant race this October. Can they win the championship for the first time since 2000? This team gives them their best chance in years and it’s going to be a great October for all Yankees fans!
