Having once already graced the bright lights of Las Vegas with a hit show, Elton John's knightly name is set to return to the Caesars Palace marquee. The 64-year-old rock and roll legend has gone all-in on a new three-year Las Vegas residency show, entitled The Million Dollar Piano. Debuting on September 28th, The Million Dollar Piano will feature Elton performing his greatest hits within the intimate setting of The Colosseum. The show gets its namesake from the piano Elton will be using to play classics like "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Your Song." Yamaha has been building the piano for four years and will no doubt make some wonderful music with Sir Elton at the keys.
Based on the English songwriter's last Caesars Palace venture, you can count on Elton John Las Vegas tickets being one of the hottest tickets in Sin City this year. Elton's previous Vegas show, The Red Piano, ran from 2004-2009 for 160 shows. Elton and his long-time backing band will be preparing for The Million Dollar Piano's first show with a series of performances in Canada and a "one night only" appearance at the Cidade do Rock in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Elton's initial Las Vegas run will conclude on October 23rd before the "Rocket Man" blasts off on a tour of Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
