The Damon Albarn-led project, Gorillaz, has scheduled a US leg of their world tour for the fall. On the strength of their most recent release, Plastic Beach, Gorillaz will arrive in North America on October 3rd for a show in Montreal, Quebec. The group’s massive fan base in the US and Canada are doing everything they can to get their hands on Gorillaz tickets for the "Escape to Plastic Beach Tour". Albarn has dialled back the band’s cartoon image in recent live performances, giving audiences a more intimate look at the musicians themselves.
Plastic Beach is one of the best reviewed albums of the year thanks to songs like “Stylo”, “Welcome to the Plastic Beach”, and “On Melancholy Hill” resonating with both fans and rock critics. The band’s third album topped charts around the world – peaking at #2 in both the US and UK. Many American music fans are anxious to see Gorillaz perform tracks from Plastic Beach, as well as, Demon Days and Tomorrow Comes Today. Gorillaz caps their US tour on November 2nd in Seattle.
