Since Jay-Z and Kanye West's highly anticipated collaboration album, Watch The Throne, hit stores on August 8th, album reviewers and fellow musicians have been heaping praise on the duo of hip-hop superstars. Watch The Throne has affirmed their place on top of the genre, being called "a paradigm shift for Hip-Hop." The album's lead single, "Otis," (a soulful proclamation of their reign over the rap game) is currently threatening to break into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Featuring guest appearances by Beyonce, Mr. Hudson, and Frank Ocean, Watch The Throne could be up for a few Grammy`s when all is said and done. However, hip-hop fans will not have to wait until award season to see Jay-Z and Kanye on stage together. The two rap moguls will soon be bringing their collaborative effort to an arena near you, having announced a twenty-four date co-headlining tour that kicks off in October and wraps up in December.

2011 Jay-Z and Kanye West tickets are on sale now with the first show of the touring taking place on October 29th at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA. For Kanye West, the Watch The Throne Tour is a return to the origins of his mainstream success. It was Kanye's producer work on a number of Jay-Z hits that enabled him to sign his big record contract with Rock-a-Fella Records. Seven years, million after his first album was released - West will tour the United States as an equal with Jay-Z. Much has been made about the different ideas Kanye and Jay-Z have for the tour, but no official details have been released. Regardless of the theatrics the duo pull out on stage, there will be a new standard set for hip-hop tours when Jay-Z and Kanye ascend The Watch The Throne Tour later this year.
