Ever since July of 2005, the show “So You Think You Can Dance” has been one of the most popular on network television. The show, which was created by American Idol’s creators, Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, uses practically the same format as its popular predecessor. They take amateur performers from all corners of the country, audition them (usually locally), and then bring the best into the actual competition. This brings a variety of impressive performers into the tournament, while also showcasing the talents of some interesting performers who aren’t as likely to hit the professional circuit anytime soon. Then the last 20 dancers are paired up and each pair gets voted on as a couple, rather than individually like on Idol. When there are only 10 dancers left, they will randomly choose their next dance partner. It’s always a lot of fun to see these dancers doing their best and see how they stack up when compared to the others!

But did you know there was a live show? There certainly is! Order So You Think You Can Dance tour tickets and you can see the dancers audition live. Usually this is in the earlier audition parts of the competition, where the lesser-known performers are working to get into the main group of performers. The judges are already there and they will let the dancer have it, if he or she thinks it’s necessary. But it’s also a fun chance to see a wide variety of different performers on the same stage, showing their best material. Each and every performance of this show is going to be a lot of fun for you to check out.
