Band members Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton have officially released their rescheduled U2 tour dates for the band’s U2 360 Tour next summer. After the band was forced to cancel their tour this summer due to Bono's emergency surgery on his back, U2 will return to America in 2011. Earlier this month, Bono announced that his back was healed and he could now sit, stand, and “move around a bit”.The 50-year-old lead singer told the press that he's used his time recovering writing lyrics and new songs that could eventually make it on to U2's next album.
Bono has less than a month to get fully up to speed, because U2 plays their next show in Turin, Italy on August 8th. U2 will continue on through the months of August and September making stops in Germany, Finland, Russia, Austria, Greece, Turkey, France, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal. U2 will take a winter break before beginning their North American leg of the world tour on May 21st in Denver, CO. American fans will certainly be anxious to see Bono on stage after the disappointment of this summer’s cancelations.
