Fans are already shopping for NBA Preseason tickets with basketball season little more than a month away. Interest in the NBA is at all time high both here in the Unites States and abroad. The NBA season will actually tip off overseas this year with the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves opening the year at the 02 Arena in London. Stateside, the media’s glare this season will shine brightest on stars like LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, and Carlos Boozer – who find themselves with new teams via free agency. The NBA hierarchy could look very different at the end of the season if these players can fit into their new surroundings.

The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls should be contenders in the Eastern Conference this season after reshuffling their rosters through free agency. Nevertheless, the Lakers are still the defending NBA Champions. Miami and Los Angeles will be favored throughout the season to reach the NBA Finals, but the Bulls, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, and Orlando Magic all have championship potential. Keep your eye on teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks who had greatly improved seasons a year ago. This season could be the year young stars like Brandon Jennings, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, and rookie John Wall to take their games to the next level of superstardom. Whatever transpires during the 2010-11 NBA season, the year will be full of excitement for NBA fans.
