The first round of the 2010 NBA playoffs has been very entertaining to say the least thus far. Lower seed teams like the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder are giving title favorites the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers all they can handle. However, both the Lakers and Cavs are expected to advance, but things are more interesting when the playoffs are full of competitive series.

In the East, the Celtics are off to a 2-0 lead over Miami, Atlanta is out to a two game lead on Milwaukee, and defending conference champs Orlando dominated Charlotte in their opening pair of games.Things in the West look a bit more competitive, but the Lakers are expected to make it the finals again this year. Some of the best performers so far have included MVP favorite Lebron James, second-year scoring machine Kevin Durant, and the red hot Joe Johnson.  We still have long way to go before the NBA Finals, but the playoffs have been top notch so far this year.
