Baseball will celebrate the season's midpoint at the All Star game in less than a month. The Arizona Diamondbacks' Chase Field will have the distinguished honor of hosting the league's best this season. From the All-Star Fan Fest previewed above to the Home Run Derby, Major League Baseball is pulling out all the stops for their fans buying MLB All Star Game tickets this July. The 82nd edition the mid-season classic will be the American League's first chance to exact retribution on the National League after the NL won for the first time in thirteen tries last year in Anaheim.

Boston Red Sox slugger Adrian Gonzalez should be at the very top of the voter list for this season's pro baseball gala in Phoenix. In his first year patrolling Fenway Park, Gonzalez has been playing AL MVP-calibre ball. Near the top of the league in RBIs, batting average, hits, and doubles, Gonzalez seems destined to walk out under the lights at Chase Field the toast of the American League. The National League's top player on the other hand is not as clearly distinguishable. Matt Kemp, Jose Reyes, Joey Votto, and Prince Fielder are all have great seasons. Regardless of who lifts the NL MVP trophy at season's end, the National League must be on their game to come out victorious in consecutive years at the All Star Game.
