No Rules? Not anymore. The UFC mixed martial arts have really come to the fore in the sports world over the last couple of years. It was a kind of underground sport during the 1990s, but since 2005 and 2006, the sport has been growing in popularity and in broadcasts. It was previously only available in your home on pay-per-view, but now it’s on normal cable channels. What is this sport that the world has suddenly embraced? It is a fighting sport, like boxing. But it incorporates aspects of karate and jujitsu. Many of the competitors were originally boxers and kickboxers. They can use many different methods of attacking their opponents, but they may not pull his hair, butt him in the head, or do any other extreme/dangerous moves. Once he knocks the other fighter down, he has to pin him or knock him out in some way. It’s a really exciting fight and the stakes could hardly be higher. Watching on cable just doesn’t give you a good sense of this sport. And the championship is coming up soon! Getting UFC Championship tickets, you will get to see if BJ Penn, Rashad Evans or any other defending champions can keep their titles!
