Well, it’s another year and with each new year always comes a new PGA tour. In fact, the first competition has already been played, the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Kapalua, Hawaii. The winner was Geoff Ogilvy, who went into the final round leading by 6 shots, almost fell back into a tie, and then held on to win in the end. He may be one of the best golfers in the world right now, but he’s definitely not the best known yet. Tiger Woods is still out with an injury, but when he comes back, he will really be looking to redeem himself for all the lost time he’s had this last year. Vijay Singh had a good tournament, too, but he will have to have knee surgery this week and will miss about 5 weeks of play. But there’s not a dearth of great players still in the mix. Anthony Kim, Zach Johnson, and Davis Love all were really close to winning in Hawaii. And that’s not even counting the main golfers like Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia, who will also be joining the tour in the next few weeks. It’s looking to be a great year for the golfing world and we’re looking forward to helping you see the competitions! Get your golf tickets today, because they are selling out faster than you think!
