The Chicago Bears’ fans are excited for the 2009 season. For the first time in many years, the team has a franchise quarterback in Jay Cutler. Cutler was acquired from the Denver Broncos in a deal that sent a quarterback and a couple 1st round picks west and Cutler to Chicago. The expectations will be high the moment that Cutler steps onto the field and starts to throw passes to Devin Hester and Matt Forte. The Bears look like they will bring an impressive offense to the field for the first time in quite a few years. Cutler knows how to throw and he will hit wide receivers all over. The defense is expected to be strong as usual. They were almost able to get into the playoffs with a strong defense last season. Now that they have brought together a strong defense and bulked up their offense in a big way, they should be set for this season. Last year was disappointing in Chicago, as the team came within one or two wins of taking the division from the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are expected to be the big rival this season, but the Bears are now ready for anything they can bring! Rushing, passing and blitzing; this team can do it all! Chicago Bears tickets go on sale this weekend for all home games. If you want to see them take on division rivals, like Minnesota and Green Bay in person, this is your chance to get tickets for those games. They will also play teams like the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Chicago this year, so make sure to check out the entire schedule and pick the game that you look forward to the most. It’s going to be a fun year for Chicago!
