College football fans will be once again this weekend filling stadiums, bars, and family rooms across the nation to watch their favorite teams chase gridiron glory. From Michigan and Notre Dame's jaw-dropping, last-second shootout in week 2 to Clemson's stunning upset of the defending champion Auburn Tigers last week, the young NCAA football season has provided fans with more than their fair share of on-field entertainment. With conference play kicking off, college football season will officially take center stage in the sports world. The long-brewing rivalries, the passionate fans, the fourth quarter comebacks - conference play has made the collegiate game what it is today.

The sale of 2011 College Football tickets is picking up with a full slate of top matchups scheduled for Saturday. A series of Top 25 inter-conference battles will be played between Clemson and Florida State, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, and Alabama and Arkansas. However, the #2 ranked LSU Tigers' meeting with the #16 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers may prove to be the biggest bout on the menu. Although LSU deserves to be considered one of the best teams in the country, Les Miles and company will need to be at their very best to beat WVU in Morgantown.
