The tennis world will be converging on Flushing Meadows Park with US Open tennis tickets in their possession. From August 30th-September 12th the finest male and female tennis players in the world will compete for 129th US Open title. Juan Martin del Potro made headlines around the world last year when he defeated five time champion Roger Federer. On the women’s side, Belgium's Kim Clijsters completed a astounding return to professional tennis by defeating both Venus and Serena Williams in route to the 2009 US Open title.
Although Martin del Potro and Clijsters will not be favored to repeat this year, last year’s US Open proved that anything can happen at Flushing Meadows. Federer claimed the Australian Open, while his adversary Rafael Nadal won again on the clay courts of Roland Garros at the French Open. Mark the end of summer by heading to New York City to watch tennis played at the highest level. History will be made at the 2010 US Open. Don’t miss it!
