On October 23rd, the Ohio State Buckeyes will hold their Agonis Club/Ohio State Men's Basketball Tip-off event at 5:30 in their home Value City Arena. The event is a promotion that benefits both the basketball team and the fans. This Thursday, for the first 500 fans that show up at the Value City Arena, $75 tickets will be sold that allows them to watch the team practice and hang around afterwards to ask head coach Thad Matta questions. In addition to this, the 500 lucky fans will receive a free commemorative t-shirt and photograph. In return, the basketball players will get their first chance this year to perform in front of their fans and help ease themselves into the new season. The basketball program will also greatly benefit from the ticket proceeds. While the first "official" practice for the Buckeyes is this Friday, the Thursday night event is by no means a walkthrough. The fans want to see that the Buckeyes players are in competitive shape for the new season of NCAA basketball. When it comes time for the new NCAA season to officially begin, you can find your Ohio State Basketball tickets right here.
