With the Ryder Cup only two weeks away, the American and European teams have finalized their rosters for the annual international battle to be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the beauteous Valhall Golf Club. For the past 10 years the European teams have pretty much dominated the American teams, winning 7 and tying 1. This year, however, Paul Azinger will be wearing the captain badge and hopes to snuff out the competition. Joining him on the 12-man American team will be his four personal selections: Steve Stricker, Hunter Mahan, J.B. Holmes and Chad Campbell; and the top eight qualifiers in PGA play: Phil Mickelson, Stewart Cink, Kenny Perry, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Ben Curtis and Boo Weekley. Though the team is relatively inexperienced in Ryder Cup play, Azinger remains confident despite the stiff competition on the European side which includes: European captain Nick Faldo, Paul Casey, Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia, Soren Hansen, Padraig Harrington, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Robert Karlsson, Graeme McDowell, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and Oliver Wilson. The European side boasts far great Ryder Cup experience. Don’t miss the international battle this year! Check out our Ryder Cup tickets on sale right now!
