• Philadelphia Eagles Flying High

Last year at this time, people weren’t sure whether the Eagles were going to be a dominant team in the NFL, because they were playing in the same division as the defending champions. With the strong play of Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook, the team ended up in the playoffs and made it all the way to the NFC championship once again. They weren’t able to take out the Arizona Cardinals, but they had shown that they could battle with the very best teams in the league. This year, the Eagles are looking to do even better. McNabb is an amazing quarterback, but there have always been questions about what the team would do were he to get injured. Late last week, the team came up with a solution to that: they signed Michael Vick, a quarterback who was very talented with Virginia Tech and the Atlanta Falcons. This will give the team some flexibility and depth at the quarterback position so that they can have a more complicated attack plan. Vick hasn’t played in several years, and is really eager to get started back up on the football field. They have also added several players on secondary, which will help stop teams like the New York Giants and other NFC East teams from getting high yardage during their games. This year will be a fantastic one for this perennially strong team, so make sure you have your Eagles tickets before the season begins! The tickets are selling fast and you should hurry to place your order!
