The demand for Stanley Cup Finals tickets is reaching new heights with the Blackhawks and Flyers facing off in game 1 this Saturday night. The cities of Chicago and Philadelphia are excited over the prospect of their hockey teams finally bringing home a Stanley Cup Trophy. After pulling of remarkable upset of New Jersey Devils in five games, the Broad Street Bullies fell behind the Boston Bruins 3-0 in the Western Conference Semifinals. Instead of calling it a day, the Flyers made sports history by battling back down three games to win the series. That momentum carried on to the Conference Finals, where Philadelphia easily dispatched Montreal in five.
The Blackhawks also appear to be a team of destiny after winning five consecutive games to make it to the finals. The Blackhawks’ revitalization over the past few years has turned the Windy City back into a hockey town. Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane have given the Hawks their best chance at claiming their first Stanley Cup since 1961. If you can’t make it to the game at the United Center tomorrow tune in at 8:00PM ET on NBC.
