The Detroit Tigers are the hottest team in baseball, and lately so are their tickets.  With Detroit having a slow start to the 2008 season, many fans were left wondering how it is possible because of the acquisitions they had during the off season.  Detroit signed Miguel Cabrera, Edgar Renteria, and Dontrelle Willis which is pretty amazing considering the lineup they already featured.  It was hard to imagine the Tigers not taking the AL Central and making some serious noise in the postseason with the final pieces of the puzzle in place. Well Detroit started the season losing their first 7 games of the season, a feat that no Tigers fan or MLB fan would have imagined to be possible.  But things have certainly changed, The Tigers are 27-13 in their last 40 games and currently find themselves just 5 games back of the AL Central leading Chicago White Sox.  Players that have been asked what's the secret? How about a healthy starting lineup, and that is exactly what is happening in the city of Detroit.  With so many players hurt early in the season, the Tigers are finally showing the MLB what they are capable of when healthy, and this one of the most feared teams in baseball. The biggest test for Detroit comes this weekend when they welcome the Chicago White Sox to Comerica Park for a chance to gain some serious ground on the division leaders.  Fans are making sure to get their tickets for this weekend's White Sox and Tigers series because it sure to be a matchup that will come down to the wire between these two teams.
