Those who get their hands on US Open golf tickets this year will be headed for Pebble Beach Golf Links – one of the world’s most breathtaking golf courses. Nestled on the central California coast, Pebble Beach has hosted the US Open on four previous occasions: 1972, 1982, 1992, and 2000. Publically shamed superstar Tiger Woods will hope to play the same way he did back in 2000 at Pebble Beach, when he won the tournament for the first time in his career. Other US Open winners at Pebble Beach include golf greats Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Tom Kite.

In 2009 at Bethpage Black, Lucas Glover shocked everyone by fending off the likes of Phil Mickelson and David Duval to take home the US Open Trophy. Mickelson recently won his first major in four years at The Masters in Augusta this past April. Lefty has been a perennial bridesmaid at the US Open, finishing second on five separate occasions. Will a new name write their name into history at Pebble Beach this year or will one of professional golf’s elite capture the revered US Open title? We will find out June 17-20th at the US Open.
