For the first time, the People’s Republic of China is producing a show on Broadway. Soul of Shaolin will be playing at the Marquis Theater from January 13th-31st in a limited engagement. This show features perhaps 33 Chinese actors, dancers and artists, who are ambassadors of a sort for the Chinese government in a major production on the New York stage. The show is about a young man named Hui Guang, who is separated from his mother in a war and ends up joining the Shaolin monks. He has to learn the way of the Shaolin, according to the ancient traditions and begins to discover who he is and what he’s really made of. The main attribute of the cast is that they are all highly trained and skilled Kung Fu masters, so you can expect the martial art to play a large part in the production itself. This is expected to be a very impressive show despite its short engagement. Who knows, maybe it will stay on Broadway longer. But why take that chance? Come to our site and find your Soul of Shaolin tickets today!
