The full lineup for the 2014 edition of Lollapalooza was revealed on March 26, confirming many of the rumors that had been swirling in the preceding few weeks. More than 120 unique acts-- including headliners Eminem, OutKast, and Kings of Leon—have been booked for the festival, which will be returning to its home at Chicago’s Grant Park from Aug. 1-3.

Friday, Aug. 1
The three-day fest will begin with an appearance from Detroit-based rapper Eminem, who dropped The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in Nov. 2013, marking his first studio release in over three years. The album included the No. 1 single “The Monster” featuring Rihanna, with whom Eminem is going on tour less than a week after Lollapalooza. There’s no word on whether she’ll join him on stage during his festival set, but the two have surprised fans at each other’s concerts in the past.
Also appearing on Friday will be Arctic Monkeys, the British rock outfit whose acclaimed album AM made several Best of 2013 lists last year, including publications like Rolling Stone and NME. New Zealand’s budding pop star Lorde also will take the stage on Friday, as will “Stay the Night” hit-maker Zedd.
Saturday, Aug. 2
Continuing into Saturday, the lineup boasts one of the most highly anticipated acts of the upcoming festival season: OutKast. The duo of Andre 3000 and Big Boi is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut album this year with dozens of festival appearances, but so far, this is the group’s only scheduled appearance in Illinois. The second Saturday headliner is Calvin Harris, whose GRAMMY-nominated 2012 album 18 Months spawned the Platinum-certified singles “Sweet Nothing” and “I Need Your Love.” Los Angeles-based indie rock group Foster the People also will be headlining on Saturday, backing the March 2014 release of its sophomore album Supermodel.
Sunday, Aug. 3
The Sunday Lollapalooza lineup will end the weekend on a high note, as the recently reunited Kings of Leon are set to stand as the event’s final headliner. The family band took several years off the touring circuit before releasing Mechanical Bull in Sept. 2013, but the group has been back in the groove since launching a full arena tour in February.
The same night, EDM pioneer Skrillex will be on stage backing his debut studio album Recess, which was released on March 17. Other DJs included on the Sunday lineup include Sebastian Ingrosso and Flosstradamus, but there also will be sets from rap artists Childish Gambino and Chance the Rapper, reggae group Rebelution, and various rock groups like The Avett Brothers, Cage the Elephant, Young the Giant, and The 1975.
Lollapalooza tickets are on sale now in the Vivid Seats marketplace, including three- and single-day passes for general admission, Lolla Lounge VIP, and standard VIP.
