If you like music videos, then you should get yourself some CMT Music Awards tickets and see some of the best videos of the year get their due! This is a music awards show like the CMA Awards or the ACM Awards, but with an important difference: they are less orthodox in style. They are completely fan-voted and they also use some unusual categories, giving awards for especially funny, sexy, tearjerker or patriotic videos. Last year, Taylor Swift, one of the main new country music talents, won Video of the Year with her song “Our Song”. Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, who won several Grammy Awards this year, also won the award at the CMT Awards for “Wide Open Country Video of the Year.” Kellie Pickler won Performance of the year with her rendition of “I Wonder.” If you get tickets, you will see many of your favorite stars as well as some lesser-known talented musicians at this awards ceremony.
