Icy Show but still good

Lutzes. Salchows. Axels. No, these aren’t words in some foreign language; these are real figure skating moves. Why do I bring this up? It can only mean one thing: that Smuckers Stars on Ice is starting its 2008-9 season. For those of you who don't know, Stars on Ice is a travelling ice show with dancers and music. But unlike some other ice shows, this one has real professional skaters; most of them have competed in the Olympics and other international competition. This year's cast includes such well-known skaters as Sasha Cohen, Yuka Sato, Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao and many more. The show started in 1986 as a grown-up ice show; in other words there would be no big Mickey Mouse characters or fairy tales. Over the years, its cast has included almost all the big names, not only in American figure skating, but also those from other nations as well. If you hurry you can get tickets to this great event.
