Sam Smith | In the Lonely Hour Tour
Sam Smith’s long-awaited debut album, In the Lonely Hour, dropped in his native U.K. on May 26, and although it won’t be released in the U.S. until June, Smith has already confirmed a brief string of tour dates for North America this fall. Beginning on Sept. 15, the “Latch” vocalist will embark on a 15-city tour of primarily mid-sized venues like Chicago’s Riviera Theatre (Sept. 22) and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre (Sept. 30). Smith also will perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Oct. 3 and 10.
Demi Lovato | Demi World Tour
In support of her 2013 album Demi, pop star Demi Lovato will once again be hitting the road this fall for an extensive 25-city trek across North America. The “Neon Lights” singer has plans to launch the venture from Baltimore on Sept. 6 and remain on the road through Oct. 25. On various dates, MKTO and Christina Perri are scheduled to appear as opening acts.
John Legend | All of Me Tour
In the wake of the success of his recent chart-topping single “All of Me,” John Legend has extended his 2014 tour to include a brand new summer leg. As of June 2, the vocalist is already on the road throughout the month, but he’ll return stateside on July 22 with a show in Cedar Park, Texas. The summer 2014 leg will include a handful of outdoor venues, most notably the Greek Theatres in Los Angeles (Aug. 18) and Berkeley, Calif. (Aug. 21), as well as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. (Aug. 26).
Disney On Ice | Frozen Tour
Few animated movies have achieved such widespread success in recent years as Disney’s Frozen, and this fall, a live version of the sibling story will be transferred to the skating rink for Disney On Ice: Frozen, slated to begin on Sept. 5. At the time of the tour’s initial announcement on May 20, the Frozen tour already includes over two dozen cities across the country and will extend into 2015.
