The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) just keeps getting more popular.  Anyone who likes a good boxing or wrestling match has seen nothing until they've seen this! Two guys, using nothing but their own fists, arms, knees and feet, go at it and try to take the other guy out.  And in the UFC, taking the guy out usually means knocking him out. It is also called Mixed Martial Arts.  It's a combination of Jiujitsu, Brasilian Martial Arts, Karate, and other martial arts.  Basically, anything in any fighting sport that can be useful is brought into the fight.  At the moment, there are two heavyweight champions, an American, Randy Couture, and a Brasilian for the interim, named Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. It's always a wild ride, everytime you see it.  And most people have only seen it on TV.  In person it's completely in-your-face! If you like Karate, if you like Boxing, if you like wrestling, real or WWE, then this is a sport you gotta try out! It begins in just a couple days! Hurry, check out our UFC tickets!

The San Jose Sharks are simply cruising through the competition so far in the new season of NHL hockey. Led by high powered offensive lines, the Sharks have tallied the league leading 50 goals scored, while their miserly defense has held the opposition to only 34 goals. But these stats only point towards the only stat that really matters in the season: the team record. Right now the Sharks stand at a simply astonishing 12-2. They are perfect at home with an 8-0 record, but their 4-2 record on the road is nothing to slouch at either. Yet unfortunately for the Sharks, their brick wall in between the posts went down during last night's shootout. While the extent of the injury to Nabokov is not yet clearly defined, backup goalie Brian Boucher will be called up to fill his shoes. The Sharks' next game will be against the 4-6 Dallas Stars so he won't need to be incredible, just present. You can be present for any game during the season too if you act on the cheap hockey tickets that we offer to nearly every match.

Kids all over the country love Dora the Explorer!  Dora the Explorer is one of the most popular shows on television for preschoolers and parents are happy about how much their kids learn from the show.  Not only do kids learn about different parts of the world and about different kinds of people, they also learn some Spanish along the way.  There are currently two shows from Dora: City of Lost Toys and Dora's Pirate Adventure. Each show is an adventure for the whole family, where Dora has to explore to find something or someone.  Obviously, we don't want to give away any secrets about the show, but we'll let you in on one:  this is a really fun show!  Your child will get to see all their favorite characters on the show; Dora, Boots, Diego, Isa, and the Fiesta Trio. And just like on the show, they will need help to see the clues and to follow them!  That's where you and your child come in. Dora and her friends need you and your family to help! Check out our Dora the Explorer show dates.

Who doesn't like a good Body Slam? Wrestling may be all staged, but they always put together an awesome show. There are so many different groups of wrestling now. There's the WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Monday Night Raw and a whole bunch of others. It's hard to decide which one to watch. The storylines are detailed, complicated, and a whole lotta fun! There's always a defeat to be avenged, honor to retrieve and a villain to take down. It is always a big adventure to watch it! And who doesn't like the stars? Ok, so Hulk Hogan isn't really around anymore, but Chris Jericho just won the World Heavyweight Championship a few days ago.  Carlito and Primo just won the WWE Tag Team event which was crazy this year!  There's always a great bit of drama unfolding. Never been to a WWE or other wrestling event in person?  Then check out our wrestling tickets!

You’d think that after well over 10 years he’d get tired of having to constantly Git’R Done...that we as a country would learn how to Git’R Done Did’d for ourselves...or at the very least, that after extensive touring, there’d simply be nothing left to be Got Dun’Dird Did’d. Just try telling THAT to Larry the Cable Guy, the ubiquitous comedian who rose to national prominence after teaming up with Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White for the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Ever since he came to fame, Larry the Cable Guy has left much of America in stitches. With his affected accent and uber-Redneck apparel, Larry is an unstoppable comedic force. He has single handedly revived the prestige of the classic fart joke, not the dirty, lack-of-respect type of fart jokes that the new generation of comedians seem to gravitate towards. I mean, just when you think he’s just aimlessly rambling about a squirrel, a large amount of steak consumed, and a long drive through the woods...BAM! The punchline hits like a concussive fart and you find yourself gasping for breath while laughing at one of the all-time greatest Fart-Joke weavers in history. But to read it on paper and to hear it in person are two completely different things. Find your Larry the Cable Guy tickets today and buy a spool of thread and needle for your soon-to-be-split sides.

The metal band, Metallica, has started their tour, called the “World Magnetic Tour”. The tour is designed to support and promote their new album, Death Magnetic.  The album has sold an amazing number of copies:  it sold nearly 500,000 in the first week and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts. It also topped the charts in Mexico, Australia, Canada and Europe.  Clearly their fans are still loving the music.  Interestingly, the album was released accidentally by a French vendor two weeks before the scheduled start date. This caused Vertigo Records, their distributer, to officially release the record two days ahead of schedule, to prevent people from getting the songs over the internet.  The tour began on October 21st and it will last into the next year, taking them to stadiums and halls in America, Canada and, beginning next spring, in European venues. Check out our Metallica tour dates.

After tonight's MNF game, week 9 of the NFL football season will have concluded, leaving the Tennessee Titans as the (still) lone undefeated team in the league. It wasn't a whole lot like their other 7 (relatively) comfortable victories, however. The Green Bay Packers clawed and fought for every point, first down, and yard. The Titans were put on their heels, never up by more than six and losing by four in the 2nd quarter. Nonetheless, they gutted it out and finished off the Pack 19-16 in overtime on a 41-yard field goal kick by Rob Bironas. On the day, Bironas went 4 for 5 on field goals, missing the crucial game-winning kick with 4 seconds to go in regulation. When he was given another shot to end it, he made sure to "aim small and miss small," keeping the Titans perfect season in tact for another week despite an imperfect all-around performance. Yet perfection may be the last thing on the Titans' minds right now. In typical fashion, they want to take it one game at a time, as well as figure out their Vince Young situation. This upcoming week the Titans will play in Chicago against the 5-3 Bears. If you want to support the Titans' perfect season, do it in person and take advantage of our great Titans tickets.

The Duke men’s basketball program has an impressive history. Over the years they have won in the ACC Regular Season, ACC Tournament Championships, and several times won the NCAA Tournament Championships. The team has the highest tournament winning percentage (.748). But the last two years have not been very kind to the Blue Devils. Two years in a row, they have lost in the early rounds of March Madness. Now they’re pumped up to make their comeback into the Elite Eight, the Final Four and beyond. Their coach has told them to play hard and “Play for now. Play for the moment.” They are definitely ready to play this year and it’s going to be a great team. You should see them for yourself. Take a look at our Duke basketball tickets and see a game with one of college basketball’s most popular teams!

We’re already about 10 games into the NHL season, so let’s take a look at what is going on in the league so far. The Detroit Red Wings, winners of last season’s Stanley Cup, are playing well and sitting on top of their division. The New York Rangers have surprised us this year with 10 wins and 2 losses. The San Jose Sharks have also started off nicely at 9-2. All of the divisions are still wide open, though. It’s still early in the season; each team has its own story and a good chance to go out and win it all this year. Have you seen your favorite team this year? It looks to be a very exciting year for the NHL. You should go and see the action for yourself. There’s a game every night, so what are you waiting for? Buy your NHL tickets right now to see your favorite team in person!
