Robin Williams will be making a return to tour, in which his last tour was back in 2002. The comedian is scheduled for 26 shows but there is much speculation he will add more before the end of the tour. Williams will be hitting the stage with "Weapons of Self-Destruction," focusing on the absurdities of society and politics. Williams's last tour was such a hit that it was nearly impossible to get tickets for any show. The last show of his 2002 tour was even aired on HBO and earned five Emmy nominations. Robin Williams has many reasons for heading back on the road, and it is reported he feels the tour will give him both excitement and therapy for everything that has happened since the last time he toured. Williams has even joked that he needs to tour because it is in fact an election year.
"Weapons of Self-Destruction," will start on September 25th in Minneapolis, MN at the Northrop Auditorium. The show will hit Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Columbus, Wallingford, Philadelphia and many more cities. Currently the last show is scheduled for November 25th in Boston, MA at the Orpheum Theatre. Fans should check Robin Williams tour dates and schedule to make sure they don’t miss out on this highly anticipated show.
