She’s only six years into her career, but Taylor Swift has already solidified her place atop the music biz. In fact, her success came so ‘swiftly’ and has been so consistent, that it’s hard to believe she stands just 22 years young, and has already garnered a slew of accolades, highlighted by 10 American Music Awards, seven Country Music Associations Awards, and six GRAMMYs and Academy of Country Music Awards, all after only three albums. Those numbers will likely increase in months to come, as Swift’s recently released fourth album, ‘Red,’ has duplicated the commercial success and critical acclaim she’s achieved in years past.
To add to the buzz currently sweeping the nation, 2013 Taylor Swift tour dates have been confirmed, with the singer and opening act, Ed Sheeran, scheduled to hit over 40 North American cities throughout much of next year. The Red Tour will begin in Omaha for a pair of shows on March 13 and 14, and will continue with stops in St. Louis, Charlotte, Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Raleigh, among several others. A trio of performances in Nashville will serve as the grand finale, Sept. 19-21. Vivid Seats is already stocked with 2013 Taylor Swift tickets, so be sure to visit the marketplace to see when she's headed to a city near you.
In the meantime, fans will have a couple of opportunities to catch a live performance by Swift this December. She'll take the stage on night one of the 2012 KIIS FM Jingle Ball at the Nokia Theatre LA Live on Dec. 1 along with Ne-Yo, Ellie Goulding, OneRepublic, and Wonder Girls. Less than a week later, Swift will perform at the 2012 Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 7 in a show that will also include Justin Bieber, fun., B.o.B, Jason Mraz, The Wanted, Ed Sheeran, Ne-Yo, and One Direction.
