In 1972 Springsteen was offered to sign his firs contract with CBS (Columbia Records). In spite of the fact that his first albums did not sell well as well as the tickets for the concerts but the band received some positive critics. A large number of musicians took part in recording with only Soozie Tyrell, Patty Scialfa, and Miami Horns from his past colleagues.
