Aaron Cook pitched his first career shutout Tuesday night, as the Colorado Rockies blanked the San Diego Padres 4-0. Cook was in control the entire game as he allowed only 5 hits while striking out 4 improving to 11-5 on the year. The Rockies got help from the entire team as three different players contributed RBI's. Colorado scored all of their runs in the bottom of the 5th inning as that was more than enough for Cook as he cruised on the night. The shutout came one night after the Rockies gave up 15 runs losing by 7 runs. They will look to take home the series Wednesday night.
