Brian Regan Background Information

Brian Regan once had a dream to become an accountant, but in attending Heidelberg College in Ohio, he was swayed over to the Theatre and Performing Arts Department. After college he went back to his home state of Florida and worked in a small comedy club. Like most in the entertainment industry, Regan chose to head to New York City to make it big, which is exactly what he did when in 1986 he won $10,000 in the “Funniest Person in New York Contest.” He went on to host many more shows and in 1996 won the American Comedy Award for Best Comedian. Although Brian Regan has made it big, he remains an all round nice guy. Instead off using off-color humor, Brian Regan merely takes his humor off-center and still remains successful. He has also been noted to be very friendly towards fans, always signing an autograph or posing for pictures. He works very closely with Comedy Central and is due to release his second one-hour comedy special this year.
