Dana Carvey Background Information

Dana Carvey is best known for his role as Garth in the movie Wayne’s World, spun off from the Saturday Night Live skit. He has said that the personality of Garth was based loosely on Carvey’s brother, Brad Carvey, who actually engineered the Video Toaster.
His first role in the industry was a small part in the 1981 horror film, Halloween II. He moved on to co-star on the television sitcom, One of the Boys, in 1982 along with Mickey Rooney, Nathan Lane and Meg Ryan.  more
