50 Cent broke into the rap scene in 2003 with his album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. He was discovered by Eminem and signed to Interscope Records where Eminem teamed up with Dr. Dre to produce the album. 50 Cent’s next album was 2005’s The Massacre. Both his albums achieved great success, selling over 21 million copies worldwide. His next album, Curtis was released in 2007 with Before I Self Destruct following in 2008. 50 Cents real name is Curtis Jackson. He grew up in Queens, New York selling drugs during the crack craze in the eighties.  more
