Atmosphere Upcoming Concert Information

After over a year of major label courting from different labels, like Interscope, Warner Bros, Sony, Universal, and Atlantic, Minneapolis indie Hip Hop powerhouse Rhymesayers Entertainment and Atmosphere opted to pass on all offers and continue forward with their independent approach to their music.

Atmosphere consists of Ant on beats, Slug on rhymes, and resident DJ Mr. Dibbs. Due to many years of active touring and personal lyrical style of Slug, the members of Atmosphere have become legends in the underground Hip Hop scene and beyond. The band is not only massively following die-hard Hip Hop heads but indie rockers, punks as well. And it is not a secret that Atmosphere has Hip Hop’s largest female followings. The band has broken down barriers and expanded the definition of what Hip Hop can be nowadays.

The fourth studio album of Atmosphere entitled Seven’s Travels takes you on a metaphorical journey with Slug through the problems of politics, personal feelings and emotions, and the physical. Again and again Slug demonstrates a unique ability to show personal truths and experiences in a way that only very few Hip Hop or any other kind of popular music is able to achieve.
