Bamboozle Tickets

The Bamboozle is no stranger to die-hard fans of rock music. Originally christened the Great Bamboozle during the early days of its conception, this annual music festival features rock, punk, alternative and experimental acts is held over a two-day period in New Jersey, drawing thousands of fans each year, be it rain or shine. The Bamboozle made its debut amidst much fanfare in the year 2003. It highlighted acts by 30 bands on 4 separate stages, and features notable performances by Keller Williams, The Roots and Dark Star Orchestra. The next year saw great advancement for the event, in which the number of bands hosted increased almost two-fold. Held on a total of 6 stages, it features thrilling performances by G. Love & Special Sauce, Moe and Sonic Youth.

From then on, other prominent acts made increasingly frequent performances. It is also interesting to note that the organizers switched the venue in 2005 due to the concert's ever-increasing popularity, but fans beg to differ. It is because that was the year that the massively popular band My Chemical Romance first grazed The Bamboozle with their stellar presence. They later went on to delight fans in The Bamboozle 2007 and 2008. Internationally acclaimed acts such as Fall Out Boy (2006) and Linkin Park (2007) also contributed to The Bamboozle's A-list line-up.

2008 saw the birth of The Bamboozle Roadshow, in which several bands will be featured at venues on a smaller scale all across America, such as Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago. The Hoodwink 2008, a new extension of The Bamboozle, touted to be held in May 2008, could be a mischievous ploy by the organizers in organizing the mysterious concert, which interestingly bears the same meaning as its predecessor, The Bamboozle, meaning “to trick”. Each year brings The Bamboozle closer to the legendary status of the Woodstock Festival. With its growing recognition, perhaps it won't be an impossible feat after all.
