Formed in 1968, this legendary English rock band boasts original members like guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward, and of course, vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. This lineup of metal legends originally went by the name Earth, but soon changed to the name that is now synonymous with heavy metal music: Black Sabbath. After years of teasing the possibility of returning to the studio, the band has finally given fans what they are looking for after announcing plans for a new album, “13,” set to be released on June 11, 2013. The album will feature Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk in place of Ward, and to promote the first studio release with Osbourne since 1978’s “Never Say Die!” the band will be hitting the road for a world tour. The award-winning group has maintained its core of Iommi, Butler, and Osbourne since a 1997 reunion, but will be without Ward for the upcoming venture, replacing him with talented drummer, Tommy Clufetos.
