The world of R&B music knew that a star was born when Brandy’s debut album landed two number one singles, and nearly 20 years and over 30 million albums sold later she’s still going strong. Hot on the heels of her latest studio effort, “Two Eleven,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the US Billboard 200, Brandy is taking her phenomenal voice back on the road in 2013. Currently, there are only a few shows scheduled for the Grammy Award winner, but the quality more than makes up for the quantity. The first show will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA, on February 22nd, followed by a performance at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland on February 23rd. On March 1st, Brandy will hit up the Fillmore at TLA in Philadelphia, PA, and then on April 5th she’ll play Lumiere Place Casino in St. Louis on April 5th. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.

Thankfully for fans, these won’t be Brandy’s sole live appearances this year, as the singer is set to join megastars like Beyonce, Jill Scott, Maxwell, New Edition, Charlie Wilson, Keyshia Cole, and LL Cool J at the 2013 Essence Festival.
