A slew of 2013 dates are on tap for the latest Bush tour, spanning two months in the U.S., as well as festival stops including the first gig, Buzzfest, on April 20 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion along with Shinedown, Stone Sour, and Papa Roach. From there, fans will be able to purchase Bush tickets for some solo stints as well, though most performances will be accompanied by notable supporting acts or fellow headliners sharing the bill such as Soundgarden, AWOLNATION, and Oleander. One of the highlights of the trek will certainly be Bush’s April 27 appearance at Edgefest. That event also will include such acts as Phoenix, Paramore, the Deftones, Atlas Genius, and Gaslight Anthem.
While the upcoming venture does not specifically support any new album just yet, frontman Gavin Rossdale confirmed via Twitter that Bush returned to the studio in 2013 to record fresh material.
The group’s last album dropped in 2011 and they’ve been touring ever since on both sides of the Atlantic. Bush tickets are available now for scheduled performances at a number of venues including the House of Blues in Atlantic City (May 4), Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee (May 8), and Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville (May 11). The final U.S. date is slated for May 25, before the band heads overseas for international shows throughout the summer.
