Returning for a 48th year, the 2014 Country Music Association Awards will be held on Nov. 6 in the heart of Music City at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Billed as "country music's biggest night," this annual ceremony celebrates the genre's best entertainers from the previous year. Be on hand this fall to see if anyone can unseat reigning Male and Female Vocalists of the Year Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert as they aim for five consecutive wins. You'll also be able to see the live crowning of the coveted 2014 New Artist and Entertainer of the Year titles, in addition to enjoying performances from many acts during this Thursday evening ceremony.
Bridgestone Arena Seating Information
There will be a spacious stage set up on the Bridgestone Arena floor where the majority of presentations and performances will take place during the CMA Awards 2014. Floor seats in Sections 1-7 will be closest to the action on Nov. 6. If you prefer to secure elevated seating to get a bird's-eye view of the stage, select seats in the Lower, Middle, or Upper Level of the arena.
Bridgestone Arena General Information
Do not plan on bringing any unnecessary items to Bridgestone Arena like large bags and backpacks, outside food and drink, cans, bottles, coolers, noisemakers, cameras, and any recording devices. All attendees will be subject to search before they're allowed to enter the ceremony. You will not be able to re-enter the CMA Awards if you leave early, and smoking is prohibited inside the building.
Bridgestone Arena Parking Information
As travel in the streets surrounding Bridgestone Arena may be limited on Nov. 6, it is recommended that you secure CMA Awards parking in advance. There are several parking lots and garages within just a few blocks of Bridgestone Arena, but if these are full, you may be able to secure parking in other areas of downtown Nashville.
Bridgestone Arena Gate Times
Doors typically open about an hour ahead of Bridgestone Arena concerts; however, as the CMA Awards will likely be a high security event, it will be best to arrive early. For a more accurate time, check in with the venue box office the week of the ceremony.
Bridgestone Arena Accessibility
If you need assistance at any time on Nov. 6, Bridgestone Arena will be fully staffed to help you. Attendees can find accessible entrances at the Demonbreun and 5th Ave. Broadway entrances, and each level features accessible restrooms.
