Earlier this month, New York progressive rock quartet Coheed and Cambria released the second part of their ambitious double-album, “Afterman: Ascension/Descension.” For those that have been following along with the rock heavyweights since they smashed into the scene in 2002, the album is the latest installment of their ongoing concept plotline that's linked all of the bands albums, which is based on lead singer Claudio Sanchez’s sci-fi storyline, The Amory Wars. Now, the eclectic punk rockers can be seen live, as they’ve just launched their 2013 North American tour. Throughout February and March, the band will play across the continent, and there are 20 shows left on the schedule for you to witness it all live. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
Coheed and Cambria’s seventh studio album, "The Afterman: Descension," was released on February 5th, and has already earned plenty of critical acclaim. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to see the boys all over the country, as they’re set to hit up venues like the Roseland Theater in Portland, OR (2/17); The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA (2/22); Stubb's in Austin, TX (3/1); and The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA (3/5). The band is set to end the run in style by taking to the famous Radio City Music Hall in New York City, NY, on March 16th. The opening acts for the show will be North Carolina metal rockers, Between the Buried and Me, and Chicago-based post-rockers, Russian Circles. 2013 Coheed and Cambria tickets are on sale now, so make sure to claim yours and witness the electricity live on stage.
