Why not get yourself into gear by kicking off one of the year's top music festivals? That’s the plan for Toronto’s heralded experimental electronic duo, Crystal Castles, as they are set to launch their 2013 North American Tour after heading to Miami to perform at the Ultra Music Festival on March 15th and the 24th. From there, the Canadian tandem will hit the road in Mexico on April 11th, and then come up to Atlanta, Georgia, to play at the Tabernacle on April 17th. The 2013 Crystal Castles tour will have a total of 25 shows in two months, which will take them to venues like Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX, on April 21st; the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA, on April 26th; Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KA, on May 3rd; and Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore, MD, on May 11th. The tour will end in Boston’s House of Blues on May 13th, and tickets for the shows are on sale now.
The tour is coming on in support of Crystal Castles’ third studio album, "(III)," which debuted at number 77 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart when it was released back in November. So far, there have been five singles released from the album, which was widely regarded as one of the best to come out in 2012, and the band just released a video for “Sad Eyes” this week. The larger than life duo kept busy in 2012, including a stop in Australia for Big Day Out, but now they're back to hit the States. Vivid Seats has a premium allotment of Crystal Castles tickets for you to witness their wild act live.
