Even if someone has never heard of David Gilmour he has surely heard of Pink Floyd, the band which he joined in 1967. Nowadays he is more known for being a record producer for many promising artists.
The boy was born in Cambridge, in the United Kingdom on the 6th of March in 1946. Apart from being a great singer he is also a guitarist and a songwriter.
David Gilmour was offered to join Pink Floyd at the end of 1967. Very soon he became the leading member of the group. He made a wonderful career during the years spent with the group. more
But everything comes to its end someday and already in 1985 one of the members, Waters, decided to leave the band as he was concerned that Pink Floyd was over. In fact Gilmour decided not to give up and was determined to proceed with the work even without Waters.
