One of the most successful groups in the history of any music genre is hitting the road this spring and summer. Founded in Chicago in 1969, Earth, Wind and Fire transcended time and genre with their soul, R&B, disco, rock, jazz, and funk hits throughout the 20th century. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inductees have secured 17 GRAMMY nominations over a 30-year span, and have taken home six of the awards. Now that details for the forthcoming Earth, Wind and Fire tour have been revealed, fans around the globe can look forward to a variety of opportunities to hear their favorite songs live in concert.  The group will begin the trek in Louisiana at this year’s star-studded edition of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 28. The band will then hit several North American venues before wrapping up the first leg of the tour in Florida at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre on June 21. After several shows overseas, the group will return to American soil in September to conclude the tour with three shows at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl (Sept. 13-15), followed by the finale at Cincinnati’s Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati (Sept. 22).
