Formerly known as Scotiabank Place, the Canadian Tire Centre normally acts as home to the NHL's Ottawa Senators, but the stadium is also one of Ottawa's premier concert venues. With a capacity of over 20,000, this arena has brought dozens of major performers to Canada's capital since it opened in 1996. As you prepare to see Eric Church on November 15, take note of the following stadium guidelines.
Canadian Tire Centre Seating Information
For most concerts at Canadian Tire Centre, the stage will be situated on one end of the floor area with the sections behind it closed off. For popular performers, some sections slightly behind the stage may be available to accommodate more fans. If any seats are available in these sections, they will be listed in the "Notes" section as an obstructed, rear, or side view.
During concerts, the floor section is typically opened for seating. The floor seating area is typically split into three reserved seating sections (A, B, and C); however, there may also be a general admission pit area, or the entire floor section may be general admission. Be sure to verify the setup for Eric Church on the Canadian Tire Centre seating chart on this page. After the floor, the sections rise from the 100-level to the 200-level and culminate with the 300-level furthest from the stage. All of these stadium-style seating areas will typically offer reserved seating.
Canadian Tire Centre Premium Seating
Suite packs, single-night suites, and club seats may be available for purchase for the concert, which typically include preferred parking, catering, VIP and personalized service, and other first-class amenities.
Canadian Tire Centre General Information
Any type of banner, noisemaker, video recording device, container, cooler, or outside food and beverage is prohibited in the venue. Children under two typically don't require a ticket, but this may change depending on the event.
Canadian Tire Centre Parking Information
Nine parking lots surround the Canadian Tire Centre, but please note that not all may be available to the public. Valet and premium parking may be available for this concert in the lots nearest the stadium. Public transportation is also available to the venue. The OC Transpo in particular has routes designated for the venue, while a taxi service also is an option.
Canadian Tire Centre Gate Times
For most events, Canadian Tire Centre doors open an hour before the event begins.
Canadian Tire Centre Accessibility
Accessible seating is spread throughout various levels in the Canadian Tire Centre, while accessible parking is located in Lot 3. Elevators and wheelchairs are also available to ease accessibility throughout the stadium. The venue's guest services department is the best contact for coordinating any necessary accommodations.
