About Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac was born in London, England the craddle of numerous famous singers. In a year they wrote their first album which had the same name as the group did Fleetwood Mac. The album had a great success Though it did not contain any singles. To improve the situation they decided to write some singled and so they did: in some months they wrote two singles "Black Magic Woman" and "Need Your Love So Bad" which became a great hits. From this very year they became very famous so the fans started to buy up theur tickets.

A year later in 1968 Fleetwood Mac presented to the public their next album Mr. Wonderful. All the albums songs very lyrical ones, but the band made an interesting step making the album sound as if it was two decades older than it really was.

The next four years were the hardest for the band as they had to face a good deal of misunderstandings within the band itself. During this years they released three albums and made a long tour which was a great success and the fans had to line up long queues to get the tickets.

In 1974 the band managed to make a good deal with Warner Bros., shortly after they released their next album. The following years were probably the most successful ones. First of all because in 1977 they received the Grammy Award in the nomination The Album of the Year. Their new album which is called Rumours was their best-selling album at that time. They sold almost twenty million copies of this album worldwide and its no doubt that one couldnt find any tickets to see their show.

For several times the group broke apart but in the end they united to create some more masterpieces to please their fans who always hoped to get to their concerts and buy the precious tickets.

Before 1998 the band made several world tours. But Christine McVie decided to leave the band and retire from touring. But in fact she did not retire from the music business as relatively recently she created her new album In the meantime.
